Top 5 Writing Tips
1. Read the prompt multiple times.
2. Outline/pre-write your initial ideas.
3. Use powerful verbs and avoid wordiness and/or repetition.
4. Proofread your writing multiple times, utilizing spelling and grammar check. (read your essay aloud: Does it make sense and meet the requirements?)
5. Submit your work on time in the manner instructed.
